Well, an update is in order on the Comet. Stephen reminded me that I'm still in love with the cute little beast and still waiting for my stinking builder to get his glutes in a moving fashion on my dream garage that has turned into a time nightmare. Its been right at six months and we're ALMOST done. All but for the moving of strubs I could get the little green meany out of the back yard. So untill that time I piddle...

I fit the '74 Torino console into the car and its a bit wide. But its workdable. I just really like the shape of the '74-'78 Torino console better than anything else I've seen.

Salvage yard hopping yesterday for RRS I did find a Granada console in, of all things, a '71 Ranchero. The console is pretty clapped but I could check on it if anyone is interested. The car is column shift and the console has a lovely [sic] aluminum plate poprivited into the shifter hole (Just once I'd like to chat with one of these guys that "engineer" a set up like that to see if they really are as whacked out as I imagen them to be). Gotta love that kinda stuff. I can get photos and post them if someone will show me how. Not sure of the cost.

I found all the AC stuff plus a parts car with black interior. So I may have a set of black rear trim panels to let go of soon.

Anywho, thats the latest from the RRS camp and the Comet.
