Mavowar has informed me that he will no longer be a moderator on the Maverick/Comet Forums. I want to thank him for his dedication, hard work and everything he has done for the forum and its members. Lance, you will be truly missed.

I will not be appointing a new moderator at this time and the forums will be moderated by Courier11sec and myself.

LANCE, Dont go man!!!!! I personally enjoy what you say and do for our community and I feel like I know you as a friend, much like the others here i'm sure. Smile in the face of adversity:D . Dont be swayed by opinion, doesnt seem like your thing. Truth be told....I thought alot about what you've said over the past few days today, and I feel for ya bro. Hang in there, I know your mind is made up with the moderator thing but at least come back and do some "Mavericking" with us...

    Sincerly,
    Jamie

My decesion is final at this point. This board will do just fine without me. I always tried to do what I thought was right for this board. Some may disagree and that is thier right to do so. I want to publicly Thank Stefan and Ray for being "there" for me. I also want to say thank you to those that had some understanding along the way. I am far from perfect and a modestly humble person. I think the world of each and everyone of you regardless of any disagreements. there is more to this puzzle as one member put it and he was right;) . Things built up and KABOOM!!!!!:D Anyway I always wanted to say this but didn't, last chance I guess. You have been "Moderated" and just maybe "I'll be back" ....... although after tonight I will not be hanging here so shoot me an Email Mavowar@fuse.net. As always Happy mavericking!!!!

Respectfully and with a bit of sadness,
    Lance

I for one, am sorry to see you go. I think you were a very good moderator. I disagreed with you on only one issue. As far as I'm concerrned, you are still a friend, and I hope you feel the same way. I wish you would stay, at least as a regular member. Don't let one disagreement or difference of opinion drive you away, okay?...

I feel the same. Unfortunately opinions are gonig to clash from time to time but everyone will get over it and life goes on. I hate to see you go, but at the same time I respect your decision. (and think you'll be back ;) ) I to have considered takeing a break from here a few times, but I always end up comeing back the next day. I'm just to damn addicted to these cars and this board. To me this board is almost as much of a hobby in itself as the cars are.

Man o man, another quitter on the shi**er:p

    You know i'm just kiddin.
You also know that you are taking the time to read all these posts, cause you are a mavericker who gives a dam. You know you will be missed and won't stay gone too long, and that's ok man. With 3 years under your belt, you have made many invesible friends, and some from other contries I bet. I don't believe for a minute that someone with your demeanor and humbleness can depart from his/her intrests and not return.
Maybe if you know this, while you are gone, there is someone searching these posts and threads for an answer or an idea, and YOU could have been the one to help that person.
Good to have had you in my book Lance, take care, and you better be lovin that woman of yours the way you say you do cause she's worth it.:Handshake

    Lance,
I know you had a disagreement with some members recently, but i also know you just went a few days with no sleep and that you recently had a major change in your job because of other posts you put up as well.take a few days or weeks, even a month if you need to relax. maybe go enter a couple of fighting tournaments at a local dojo. but come back as a member of the board, because youll be missed here:(

Lance you will be missed (I know you will be back in time) give it some time and you can jump back in as just another Maverick!
You did a fine job as a Moderator, it is a thankless job, but you knew that going into it.
