I agree completely. $500 up front may seem really steep for a parts car, but look at all the stuff and what it goes for on ebay!. I'd go back and see if you can "split the difference" and see if he will take $375-400. Don't forget, the stripped car is worth about $100 at the scrap yard too.

Nice find - I would buy it.

Well, 1st off it has 3/4 no roof left where the vinyl used to be, and its sunk deep in the dirt. It'll need a loader to get it out for sure. My best offer would be $300
If I had a place to put it, there's no guarentee the 302 motor will work either.

The boomarangs looked good though and so did the bumper and tail lights, but is that worth $500? The seats look ok, but the floor is nasty so the rails are probabally toast too.:D

I'd give 500 for that. If the engine turns, it will probably run. Plus you get all the motor mounts, transmission cross member, exaust manifolds, 5 lug rear (front disc?) you name it. Interior looks like it might clean up. I'd offer him 350 or 400 and see what he says.

My '72 has a 71 DSO which is Los Angeles, CA. I bought the car in Charlotte, NC. Car has a Philadelphia, PA title issued 4/27/89. I to wonder how mine got all the way over here!

I think if the son was doing the deal it will go cheaper, but the old man tends to charge high for the older stuff, don't no why.

I got a driver's side mirror for my Dodge Dynasty for only $10, and that included all the wires to hook for the power?

So, I don't understand his pricing rationale?

Also he had a Mustang 289 motor for $200 the last time I was there in march, and its gone now.

Buy it out right, and strip on the premises? Hmmm never thought of that. I'd have to find someone with a truck.(y)
