I would definitely buy front and rear if you make them. I don't think that making them in metal was a good idea...you just don't see many left that aren't warped or bent. I don't think I could get mine straight (someone with good tools and skills likely could, but I couldn't).

Poly or fiberglass, I would throw a couple hundred out for it without even thinking about it.

Only problem I see is how good paint would stay on it....I know they make a flex agent for the factory poly bumpers, probably have to use something like that....

I need 2 sets of valances.

I don't particularly care what they are made of as long as they look good.
You just can't find good steel ones anymore. :(

I have seen 2 makes of fiberglass valances advertised.
    One was UP.
I was going to buy those, but I am waiting for some good press to come out of that company before I deal with them. I forget who made the others.

I would buy a set of CF valances and paint them.
You could sell me one set now.
I need another set, but with the cost, I couldn't bother with a second right away.
You could sell me a CF Grabber hood too.
Only need one, and would paint it. I like CF for the reasons you listed about easy fitment.
    Anyway, keep brainstorming.
I have no doubt something will come of it.

Btw: I have seen compact guys make custom body parts by using some sort of dense foam.
They sculpt it to shape, then cover it with a smooth material, then paint.
I don't know what they covered it with, maybe fiberglass? Maybe liquid plastic?

    Also

If you ever want a license to print money, start making interior rear side panels. I've never seen a good set, so it could be hard to create a mold.

ok guys glad to hear people are interested however i still need to do my research... i should have some sort of answer by the weekend.
you wanna sell it? i really don't wanna borrow stuff cuz well yeah.. i just don't. what i'll do is i'll take it some where to get the dealo fixed and then mold off of it.
bumpers? one thing at a time :D thanks for the offer too but i just want to buy it wanna sell it... this would be the best thing to mold off of.

also what is the differance between the 69-1/2 though 72 vs the 73? i need details!

not to sure what your talking about with the parts with foam i haven't seen it. sure it aint fiberglass? as far as grabber hoods... not about to take that on yet... thats a preaty penny out of my pocket!

since you need to paint it anyways a body shop can paint it correctly. from what i hear the paint is the same but sealant is differant. i'm no body man but maybe someone can explain it better for you.

I will commit to a complete set now.

And I would be willing to help you with the cost of setup for the molds. I am interested in a custom front valance that would have a built in spoiler and a slightly different center opening. The basic mold made for the stock valance would serve as a much simpler starting point for what I am interested in.

BTW, Thanks for the great work with the Carbon Fiber hood. I believe that will go down as one of the best purchases for my car. The quality of the workmanship and the fit and finish are impecable!

All the rest of you, if you have the chance to see this hood in person, will understand what I mean. (y)

now a nose spoiler that doesnt have to have holes drilled to mount would be very desireable to me also, of course id like that in CF.<pleading(y)
