Hi everyone!!! Just bought a 76 maverick for my step daughter. She really wanted this car. It really suprised me that we had the same taste in cars seeings that we are diffrent in so many ways. I thought about buting this car for me before I found out that she liked it. But I am hoping if we work together on this car it will help our realationship. I have worked on cars before but never to this extent. If you have any suggestions on what should be done. It would be greatly appreciated.

    Howdy and :Welcome:

Assuming the car is drivable, always make sure the car is safe first. Brakes are #1 priority. The steering and suspension should be next on the list. Good luck with the project.

wellcome to the board. like mavaholic said go for the safety items first. brakes, tires, shocks, front suspension, change the engine and tranny fluids, then work on the cosmetics. good luck. hope you have fun. welcome to the board.:Welcome:

Thanks for all the welcomes. The Mavrerick is a heap. Just got it running. Suspension is all screwed up. The only thing that is good on the car is the body. No bondo on the car yet. very little dents. The worst one is on the roof which most of it can be pulled out. Will get pics soon. :)
