I am interested in knowing if this site has started to accumulate the part numbers as the parts are being bought? I know after owning the wrong model again, meaning not a mustang, super charged lightning or lincoln mark II. Interchanging parts are a pain to find without knowing part numbers. I post all the part numbers I buy, as I post.
Is there a general thread to add/check part numbers?
    Thanks,
    Ken

Good idea, except that different year models had different parts...worse, some same year models had different parts (ie. 74s some with the seatbelt "yellow box", some without)

It would be a difficult database to compile.

No, it's a good idea. If you have 2 part numbers to look for you are a lot closer than the clerk that doesn't have a friggin idea of what a Maverick is.

I'm sorry Scooper if you think I'm mad.. Nope, the Maverick community is us, but when going to the counter for parts, the individual helping us is a import car fan. Nothing wrong with that, except they know nothing about an older car. Maverick, who make's that? When, yes, I am old... all of 45yrs, but the Maverick isn't a well known car. I would like to have a couple of P/N's that will help the kid help me. How does this happen part number thread happen?

This is the one I have ... it is all the parts manuals in PDF format.

Anytime I have listed a part number in my thread or posted a graphic like the one in the auction it is from my CD. Actually ... i copied the entire thing to my harddrive to make it quicker ....

Keep in mind this only goes to 72 .... with a final revision of 1975. If are part number was changed, replace or only available after 72 it will not be in there. For example ... you wouldn't be able to find the part # for a 1973 front bumper bracket, a 1976 glove box door, etc .... If you are interested in Big Bumper part #'s get a later year CD ...

What is good about this one is that in also as 60's Torino's, Fairlanes, Mustangs ... etc ... so it is easy to see if a part is the same and crosses with other earlier cars ..
