Oooh. Wait a sec. That was a dream! Scott, I actually am interested in a hood if it's in good shape. Maybe you can point me in the direction of it sometime (if you don't want it). Man, Junkyard finds are like a Bass Fisherman's "Honey Hole"! :16suspect well, that's what they call 'em!
Oh, I definetly am still interested in that one too. I guess I have a hood fetish or something. help.....me. I want another for yet another idea I have.
They're coming to take me away, they're coming to take me away! HA!HA! To the funny farm, where life is wonderful all the time! ---Napolean XIV :bananaman
a hood fetish?. reminds me of a story some guy on this site keeps bringing up about when he was younger on the hood of his mav, maybe he shares your fetishrofl2:.
Hey, Rick...I know where there is a hood just "laying around"... It is a secret so don't tell anyone...it is on the ground BEHIND YOUR GARAGE!!!!
Looks like it has potential (althoug the chrome strip is missing...hmm...wonder who got that one! ). Shhhhhhh!!!!! And it's propped up against the wall, not laying on the ground. That one has Ray's name on it though.
That white one is one of the few that has FORD chrome lettering on the front lip, and I don't think it ever had any chrome trim, did it...you winked at me, so did you get that trim, or were you insinuating that I got it. I actually took nothing from any of these cars this day. Just 30 or so pictures for future reference. A cold front was coming through as we got there and I barely had time to look in the 70s section of the lot and shoot pictures of the cars and get back to my truck dry. That is why I am trying to get back and get a couple of small items...especially that elusive metal-backed turn signal cam...
Ray seems kinda happy... From another thread, someone mentioned a Texas owner with nearly 30 mavs (some of which may have been crushed). Was there any truth to this, and if so, can we find some remnants? And where? PM me if this is a subject that is unrelated, so this thread does't get too off topic.
