hi my rear section of my frame is very rusted the section after the rear wheels. Is a 74 4 doors is the same as a 73 2 doors ?

The 4-doors are quite different from the 2-doors from the front windshield back, so depending on what exact area you're dealing with it would probably require substantantial modification. I'm sure someone with more experience in bodywork will be able to volunteer a more detailed answer. BTW what part of Canada are you in?

Although I never really looked at them, I would think the difference between the 2 & 4 doors would all be between the torque boxes. I'll bet the frame from the rear torque boxes to the back would be the same. Its definately worth checking out and taking some measurements. Now the rear rails where the bumper mounts will be a bit different because of the small bumpers on the 73 and the park benches on the 74, but nothing that cant be modified easily.

PS. After thinking about it, the 73 actually mounts to the tail light panel where as the 74 mounts lower through the rear frame rail. So you probably would not have to do anything in the rear frame rail.

I agree with Dennis. The rear underside of my '73 4 door looks basically identical to my 2 door cars. It seems they just stretched the floor pan area out as far as the underside goes.
