when i pull mine to prep for painting (what ever color) i am going to put the "rust bullit" and fiberglass mesh cloth under mine. that is what i used inside my quarter panal repair..frank...
Yep..repop fenders will do that. I have one on the driver's side of my Mav and it does the same thing. Passenger side is original and many, many times tougher to get it to bend even a little. I wish I would have gotten an NOS one before had my car painted. It doesn't take much to pop it in, no matter how careful I am...
Man...learned two things yesterday on here and now this. I never knew there was a repop Mav fender either. When is it gonna stop???
Ok guys, now that I know what's going on, it's only the passenger fender that's weak, so I guess repop? I do not like that so I will try and find a decent original one. Was just at the boneyard yesterday and did not even bother to look at fenders. Was on a door hunt. I'll be looking for an original pass side fender now.
richard what are you doing sitting or leaning on your fenders in the first place what you gonna do when you get a newer car! talk about recycled metal
No, it was simply sitting in the engine bay... you know how you get tired of bending over... I am 6'4" remember, so thosse fender come in handy for resting the elbows on when working on engine you know.
ah yes... i myself jack up the car... bad back and all i bring the car to my lvl i'ts really bad with a lowered car!
i hear that, just changing the spark plugs leaves me with a sore back. good thing our cars are reliable.
