always a good idea to install a trans cooler. if you drive on the street much, i would worry about mounting it in the lower valence because of rocks & pebbles kicked up by cars in front. maybe a piece of black screen or something to protect it a bit. otherwise one rock kicked up the wrong way in the wrong place could have you sitting by the roadside.

I would go with a stacked plate design like the Supercoolers offered by B&M.

I have the smaller one. I just posted a pic yesterday on another thread. I mounted it in front of the battery vent behind the grill. Scott

any tranny cooler is good. i run both of mine under the valance... i use to run them in the radaitor however i don't like those pins that go though it! even though my fans do... gonna change that though from suggestions form jayman (thanks ;) )

i have used the one you have like on your link before cuz anything is better then nothing... but i have changed since then to these

    http://bmracing.com/index.php?id=products&sid=3&cat=20&subcat=28

they are smaller and more cooling area over the other ones. JMO

but anything is better then nothing... i should know i drive with a 4000 convertor on the street all the time.. sometimes the fwy for a few miles too ;)

I've got mine mounted on the front of the radiator. Works great.

I have been thinking about going with a long skinny one to put behind the valance.

I got a 7x14inch stacked plate style one, going to mount it similar to blugene, but no fan.
