    Food for thought NHRA rules are for are 1/4 mile run in a straight line for a few seconds Right?
    what is the car being used for?, drag racing or daily driver? As everyone knows daily driving puts different stresses on a car, than running brief high speed runs

    Until you try it with your wheels and lug nuts.... no one knows.
    I didn't need longer studs for 1/4" spacers.

    I agree with this 100% You need to test fit the rims first, A rule of thumb at my shop(we sell lotsa custom rims) is that the stud at least stick out far enough to have a1/2 to 5/8 of an inch thread available from the rim. Now remember you have to measure from the lug nut seat. Some are flat,some are acorn. The flat ones typically take a long shank lug and you can get away with almost no stud sticking past the rim stud hole. You also might have to alter the amount of torque used on the lug nuts. Changing from steel rims to aluminum I recommend droping your torque specs by 10 ftlbs. Always re-check the lug nuts after the first 10 mins of driving and then again at 50 miles. On performance cars that dish out lotsa vibrations and genral abuse I recommend you retorque them once a month or every 500 miles. I have seen properly tighten rims come loose as much as 1500 miles of driving. Never use anti-seize or white-lithium grease on the mounting studs or flange. It can keep the wheel from seating properly or allow a false torque being applied to the lug nuts. Always clean the mounting points on both the wheel and the hub. Steel and Aluminum have a nasty habit of oxidizing togther, leaving a clump of residue that could also cause the wheel to come loose. Use common sense and all will be well!!!!!!!!!

    If you don't have the spacers yet just pull a wheel off, stack 1/4" of washers on the studs, put the wheel on and see what you have.

    They should be here in a few days. Ordered them from Summit last week. Just wanna use them temporarily until I find a Granada rearend...

    Okay, I put a stock lug-nut on there and the stud protrudes exactly 1/4-inch beyond end of the nut, so a 1/4" spacer should work safely with these studs, right?

    I should have the spacers early this week...

    Yes, that should be just fine. The spacer is only going to move the wheel out 1/4", so if it goes even just to the end of the lug nut, that's more than 1/2" of threads engaged.
