My first go fast goodies for my 302. I decided to go carb for now, but efi still might be in my future. Now i'm getting excited, got a pretty good deal on all these parts too. $ 225 for the holley (600 cfm vac sec. w/ race bowls and electric choke, secondary metering block, brand spankin new), $110 for the intake,( professional products typhoon, exact to the edel. rpm) also new,$40 for complete gasket kit (fel-pro), $15 for brass freeze plug kit. I think I made out. heres a pic....
he said it was a professional products typhoon, and an equivelant to a edel RPM. that is a good price on that manifold. i got a "used" rpm from a friend who payed much more and never used it, just had it on his shelf cause he decided to go single plane. still paid about 15 bux more than that.
Yeah thanks. For a guy like me its rare to plop down a few hunnies without worring about bills and such, so yes it was a great feeling . I also scored some "correct" clear turn signal lenses on ebay last night, they were a bit pricey for my taste but I couldnt resist. They are nos . I just had to have 'em. You wanted them, you got them,that's all that matter's, you did not over pay for NOS clear lens, You watch what they go for, so you know you got a deal, with the money you saved take the old lady to dinner!
Intake Where did you find the deal on that Intake? I have a "Crosswind" by Professional Products & I love it but I think I paid 150 for it. I am going to buy another one for my other Grabber.
A swap meet / car show we have down here about every 3mos. Its a curse and blessing all rolled into one..lol. Check the mustang depot on ebay, they sell professional products. They seem to be good guys.
