    Ok...so I wasn't in a Maverick but I had to gloat a little. :evilsmile

Ford Racing Performance Parts and Fun Ford Weekend started a new Open Comp style class specifically for the '05 and '06 Mustangs called Ultra Stang. I couldn't resist so I flew into Orlando last Thursday and "borrowed" a 2006 V6 Mustang.......and promptly won the inaugural running of Ultra Stang.

    Final round results:
    Ultra Stang
SD Wheeler .102 15.37 dial 15.642 87.76 (I flinched but ran him down)
    J. Phillips .064 15.78 dial 16.135 88.42

Best R/T of the day was against the JDM Engineering Saleen: .003. :49: I was typically .010 - .025 all day. That little V6 is a real hoot to drive.
Had so much damn fun I'm going to Commerce and do it again. :bananaman

Commerce: Hotel is reserved, plane ticket to Atlanta is paid for (I hate that airport), and the car is reserved.

Baytown, TX FFW: I live here so lodging is no problem. Car is reserved!
Belle Rose, LA FFW: Car is reserved and hotel is booked!!! Short drive so no airplane required.
Rent-A-Racer Program is in full swing!!!! :rofl2:

That's four races. I'll see where I am in the points standings after that and make a decision on the rest of the year. At some point I have to finish welding the 25.2 chassis into this Thunderbird.

Don't forget FFW Fontana, CA in October...LOL

Great job at the race. BTW 15 Seconds is pretty good for a V6...Did you see that V6 05 Mustang that went 11.60 at NMRA yesterday?

Rip...I'll be there! I'm flying in Thursday morning so I should make Commerce by noon. I'll track you down.

Erick....yeah, saw him last weekend too. There was a turbocharged V6 and a nitrous V6 at Orlando. I think both of them were out of the Powerhouse shop.
