Here are some pictures of my new subframe connectors. A local mustang guy took the job and I think he did great. They are made of 2"x1.5" square stock. The ends are capped and angled, the whole deal cost me $200. The car handles differently right off the bat. I can't wait to do the v8 swap this summer!

    Dan: thanks!

Oh yes, I almost forgot, he had to weld the e-brake guide on the passenger-side to the subframe, a minor readjustment.

Those look good !! When installing those or any other types , do you bolt through the floor as well ? Or is it just sub to sub welds ?

boss9: These are just sub to sub, plently of people tie into more of the floor, or even the pinch welds. The more elaborate braces actually are integrated into the floor.

    How is it different?

Well for one, there are a lot less squeaks and pops from the body. I can feel the stiffness in the corners, it might be my imagination, but it sure feels like I can corner better. I can also really feel a change when going up and down the tall curbs in driveways now.
