When you change the rear suspension, make new mounting brackets & get the Gas-A-Just & come down. It's okay, some people like that floatting feelling. Just not me. My lowered truck with 40 series nitto's ride hard but I'm okay with that. It's the wifey that hates it...lol

I have the Monroe shocks on my car. They were good a few years ago, but seem to wear out quickly. Car is now noisy and the car is floating a bit over bumps. Time to change, and this time....KYB's. Thanks, Derek!

Yeah, but race isnt the issue for that. I HAD a co worker who seemed nice with a pretty white wife that also seemed nice. one night she killed him in the middle of the night with a shotgun while he slept. No one knew why, we were all shocked.

I'm looking to buy some Air Shocks today, but don't really know to look for.

Someone said Motorcrafts was good, and cheap on price (just what I'm looking for). I'm sure I don't walk in a say "I'm needing some Motorcrafts (or any other brand) Air Shocks". I have about $200 to spend on Air Shocks, but I want the cheapest I can find....for now.

I need the correct clearance, height, length and ect....I guess. That's what NAPA told me. They said they didn't make Air Shocks for the Maverick.

    Thanks for the help/info :)

EDIT: Is this what I'm looking for http://www.car-stuff.com/performance/quote.php?make=9&year=1974&model=110&brand=578&part_name=26&category=

I just wish to correct the leaning and make the rear a little bit higher.

Buying and installing air shocks will only give you MORE problems.......not less. Just do a search on air shocks and you will see what I mean.

If you have $200 to spend, buy some new leaf springs and regular shocks. All of that can be bought for right at $200.

If you must get air shocks.......they are all over ebay all the time.

    Those be it.

You will need new axle bolts as well. You can probable re-use your rear shackles....but you will need new bushings back there.
