Please buy it for John Ford....that way you to can have a PINK car Dennis!! :evilsmile Looks ok....but I dont see 3000, maybe 2000-2500
I'm thinking $2500......CDN $ It's got $1000 worth of rolling stock. Unless you are a bodyman by trade, any shop will be expensive for major repairs. If you are certain that it requires nothing extensive, a price around $1800-2000 would be fair.
My yellow car sold on ebay for $2500. It was a 6 cyl, AT, Ice Cold Factory AC, bucket seats, factory floor shift, 4-lug wheels, new tires. Interior was mint black. Recent repaint...but needed painted again. Nice chrome. You saw that car Dennis......so compare it to that.
By the pics and description 1800to 2000 but were I live most of them are rust buckets that people want that much for them. That one sounds like a savable one.
Yea, I was thinking of putting a hood on it and trying for around $2800. Then again, I really need another project. BTW the pink is just faded primer.
I'm still cheap. See Good Carma new thread to see what I'd pay $3000 for. $1500 tops. Still lots of cars out there at good prices if you're patient. Which reminds me, a big bumper 2 dr in the Phoenix paper today for $800. Say it runs great.
Looks like a solid car!! $2000-$2500 might bring it home. Add it to the collection!! You might wish you had if you don't.
I agree with most of the guys here, probably $2000-2500. But I do predict this to change in the next 12-18 months. Barrett Jackson plays a big role in the future value of all collectible cars and I'm sure some of you saw the latest edition. 60's and 70's cars are getting outrageous. Some of you may think this won't spill over on our Mavericks and Comets but believe me when I tell you...it already has.
I'd give $1500 to $2000 for it. And I'm cheap! I haven't paid over a grand for a Maverick or Comet yet....
I was thinkin 2k also and the only reason it was that high is the interior...a grand in body and paint and it'd be a nice car.
