Cant go wrong with a Hurst Quarter Stick 155.00 at summit.

    The original Quarter Stick.

The award winning Quarter Stick automatic shifter is designed to provide positive gear change control for street or racing transmission applications, and has the following features:

    * Designed for two, three, and four-speed valve bodies in both forward and reverse shift patterns
    * Detent activation is controlled by a chrome plated trigger, contoured to fit comfortably into the driver's hand
    * Comes with factory installed neutral safety switch (The back-up light switch is available separately)
    * Extremely compact and lightweight for tight fit cockpit installation, and weighs only 2.5 lbs.
    * Shifter pattern detents are accented by a roller detent for positive feel
    * One hand operated, spring loaded reverse lockout mechanism enables drivers to clear the reverse lockout while remaining strapped in the shoulder harness belts
    * Comes complete with hardware, 5 ft. long shifter cable, and easy-to-follow installation guide
    * Aluminum stick has 7/16 in. -20 thread

    Re: what about...

I personally dont have any experance with B&M, Hurst however has been a great shifter for me, and I'm hard on my shifters

If you are going to race the car get the best possible shifter you can afford. Both Hurst and B&M make very good shifters, it all a matter of personal preference. I picked the B&M Hammer shifter and it’s an ok shifter but Hurst makes them just as good.

    Just my 02.
