Man, I'd say you got a real steal on that thing! Congrats! and :Welcome: aboard.

The 250 in my '72 has 202,638 on it and still runs great. These little inline 6's will run forever if you take care of them.

It wouldnt have been a Grabber then. The Grabber came out later in the production year.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments.

I am new at decoding the vin and stuff. My color code is U maybe an O but I can't find these anywhere on the decoder stuff. The owner said it was a special order color. Any Ideas?

    Thanks

Back in 1970 you could special order colors. Likely Code U / Grabber Orange from a 1970 Mustang. What is the DSO?

The DSO is 73. How do you find the Stang codes?

I don't think it was special order ... that color scheme was used in all the 1970 Grabber advertisements ...

:hmmm: Even though it wasn't listed as a color wouldn't it still have to be special ordered?

It is listed as a color. Not a special order unit. Just a standard 1970 Ford Maverick Grabber. There are lots of them in my registry in that color.
