I've got some noticeable shaking and vibrating going on. I may need a new balancer...can anyone tell me how to go about getting a new one. Is a fluid dampner any better than a stock one? Also, will a stock 302 harmonic balancer work on a mildly modified engine (cam, heads, intake, .30 over bore)? I really don't know how to go about this.......any ideas

    Thanks

if you have any money in the engine, or race it much, or rev it up a bit, call ATI. they know their business. not the cheapest, but possibly the best. stock engine? either oem or one of the budget aftermarket pieces.

Anyone ever heard of a Maverick I6 flywheel being bolted up to the back of a 302 block. I know there are some bellhousing issues, but I chased down the part number to my flywheel at the local parts house and it corelates to a I6 250 flywheel, much smaller than the 302:hmmm: .

Also, does anyone know what the weight to the I6 flywhell might be? I can't believe this happened.
