I called CompCam to get a recommended retro cam part number. They gave me a part number that there own web page don't have information too. I found the info on Summit. It has more duration & lift than the old came. I was looking for a little more power. Will this make a difference? These are the specs:
    OLD CAM hyd. flat-tap 222 & 226 duration @ .50/ .494 & .494 lift/ 108 lobe sep
    New Cam hyd. roller 230 & 236 duration @ .50/ .513 & .529 lift/ 110 lobe sep

Thanks, I was wondering what happened. I thought I might have had a mind backfire(maybe I was thinking this but didn't type it).
    P.S. I still like the 1badmav

More lift and duration but wider lobe separation. I would find out the valves' opening and closing points, intake centerline, etc., and plug the info into DeskTop Dyno or some similar program to see how it works with your combination. A "bigger" cam won't necessarily make more power unless it is matched to the rest of the motor.
