Has anyone ever sealed up the side marker lights in the fenders . There is a company called Visibolt that sells stainless steel bolts with a bright LED light in the head. They come in different sizes and also come chrome plated. You would still have a marker light but only smaller. I remember the older road runners used a very small round marker light...just a thought....
I have seen several Mavericks where the side marker lights were shaved off. I kinda like them either way. I thought about doing that to my Comet GT but since I have two complete sets of NOS marker lights, I'll probably keep them on.
jim, we talked about these lights a while back...i also saw where they have lited bumper bolts...frank...
thats right Frank I remember that now and at 21 to 29 bucks apiece kinda pricey... they look nice though...
scrapper, that really looks good. Will it remain street legal? If so, what is the purpose of them in the first place? Are you just fiberglassing or welding in new plate where the holes are? Another benefit...4 less places for potential shorted wires. I have "shaved off" my antenna and passenger mirror, and just fiberglassed the holes shut. I like to have as little extra junk on my car as possible, and have been toying witht the side lights...I just didn't know if that would be street-legal. Most new cars that I have seen have them, so I just assumed...
