70 mount help

    do 68 couger frame mounts swap to 70 mav?

    If they are 289-302, they should...
    However, I have never done it myself.
    The engine mounts won't swap though.
    You have to get some at the local parts house for a Mav.
    They run 10-15 bux around here.

    Edit: I have an eBay pic with "Maverick Connection" in it.
    The pic is of Mav stands and is in no way an endorsement of this business.
    And I mean it!
    The stands are functionally the same, just the earlier stands are in 2 pieces.
    They were used 65-70 in several FoMoCo models.
    The Mav parts are one piece and used from about 71-77.
    Stands swap, mounts don't.

    Yes...
    I was just pointing out that the Mavs didn't have v8s right away.

    I have used both types of stands that you have pictured above ina couple of my cars. No problem here
