Sad to say but all of my Maverick stuff is now gone. Bobby just left after getting my 74 loaded up. It was very nice to meet him and his lovely wife Debbie and his son. Very nice people to be around for sure. He drove all the way up from Bama to get this car and I am happy to say that he seemed happy with the car. Even though I don't have any Mavericks left ya'll aint getting rid of me. lol. Too many nice people on here for me to leave. This has to be about the nicest group of people on the web. I am working on my daughter's 71 Mustang Sportsroof and getting close to being able to actually drive it. I put a 351w in it in front of the stock wide ratio top loader so hopefully it will have enough grunt to get out of it's own way. It's a stock 86 HO engine with a 600 Edelbrock carb and stock exhasut manifolds going into duel 2 1/4" and flows. Ought to sound pretty good clint
Glad your styaing Clint, It was nice meeting you back at Thanksgivng when I picked the seats up from you. Sorry to hear you are out of mavericks. I wish you luck with your Mustang project. I also wanted to wish you a Happy New Year and I hope it is prosperous one for you. I wish you luck on your wood working projects also. Take care. Later Allen
Yep, the cat is outta the bag , I"m the lucky new owner of the other Mav !!!! Had a great trip up and back from NC, got to meet some really great folks, Clint, his wife and daughter. Heres a couple of pics taken by my wife just before we left for the trip home. I'm on the left, Clint's on the right. Great to actually meet and put a face to somebody here on the board, even better when it's a great guy like Clint. Thanks again and keep an eye on that beautiful daughter of yours, with that bright red Mustang she'll have to beat the guys back with a big stick! LOL
Thanks Bobby, glad you made it home safe. The first time she brought a boy home, I made sure to be cleaning my firearms at the table. She says he is still scared of me. lol Clint
