Jamie has a good point....new lines on an old car will not hurt, also you mentioned having two filets before the carb....any chance ,one might be installed backwards???

Nah, I have them on right....should anyways. I'll check them later.

About the fule lines: How long would it take, and how much will it cost me? I don't have a lot of money for.....trying things.

    Thanks!

it's not been mentioned but check your fuel pump to insure you have enough flow coming to the carb, it might be starving for fuel at idle.

Waynes; I'll be sure to do that. Thanks for the advice. I can see the pump not working right, seeing as how old it is.

Fule pump is actually new. Can't believe I forgot about putting a new on in: I filled up the tank, and as soon as I hit the drive way, it went out. Costed into my everyday spot. I got real lucky, hahaha!

Post if you have an idea. I've yet to check my fule lines under the hood. Won't be able to 'till Sunday (laying tile in the Bathroom, and a lot of plumbing work).
