Does anyone have experience with these? I know it will probably be easier to fit glass fenders and a hood than it will be to find steel parts here in the rust belt.

I think it would be really cool to use the once piece front end and have it tilt forward. Since I'm going to be using the Mustang II front end and DOHC 4.6 I think that will look very unique. The whole engine and suspension will be exposeed when the front end is tipped forward. Not to mention it should knock off quite a bit of weight.

I've done plenty of work with glass in the past, so this would be pretty easy as long as I measure everything right the first time. All I'd really need to do is add the hinges and some stiffening ribs along the outer edges. I'll probably do rivets and glass for extra strength. Then add some arresting cables so it doesn't go too far forward and some hood pins and foam to hold it down. No sweat right??

Show Cars has had a pretty bad reputation on here in the past. I would stay away from them.

As far as customer service, or the quality of the parts? I'll find another place to buy from. Just wondering....

To my knowledge, Show Cars and Unlimited Products both have poor material quality reputations. This is just what I have heard, but I hear that about most fiberglass
    aftermarket stuff.
Has anyone checked to see if Crites Restorations is doing anything for these cars? I have heard good things about their mid 60's Comet, Falcon, Fairlane products.

Thanks for the heads up. The search for a decent fiberglass vendor continues. I might have to bite the bullet and make my own molds. The wife won't like me stinking up the garage and house though. Oh well...

What about usbody.com? I just asked google and it looks like they at least know the difference between big bumper and small bumper cars. Not as much stuff though...

Crites does make grabber hood replicas. Ill buy one of theirs if I decide I want a grabber hood. I think they also make glass fenders. I know somebody does...

I have yet to meet someone that was happy with any fiberglass parts they bought aftermarket.
I don't think UP is any worse than others.
On the Chebbie boards, there are a BUNCH more fiberglass suppliers and buyers than I have ever seen on a Ford board, and no one is ever happy.

I have seen a crites hood in person. It looked good on the car. He said it was minimal work to get it perfect. My U.S. Body souce was decent but for 489.99 I expected a little more.
