    I just washed the 74 for the first time in about 6 weeks since I started on tall the body work ..... The 71 Grabber is ready to go to the Year One car show today ....

    99% of us probably searched till we were blue in the face for books with LOTS of pictures in it when we HAD to read one. :D

    Yup .. that's my son ... wanting to trade his Yellow for my Red ... I told him no way ...

    Met an original BearCat owner at the Year One show today ... Said every date he went on in highschool the girl he was with burnt her leg on the sidepipes when she got out ... Also said he got 3 tickets for loud pipes and Pugmire Mercury paid them for him. They also installed a secondary exhaust system with a cutout switch for him. He had the capability of either running the exhaust out the side pipes for through mufflers that dropped beneath the car ... they installed it for free. Said it was White with Red Bucket interior, 302/3-spd ....

    There was another guy there ... just moved here from California. Has a Red 71 Maverick with high-rise intake coming through the hood. Said car has always been a drag car since new and he refreshed it in 1985 ... He doesn't drive it much ... the paint still looked brand new ...
