Sounds great so far...Keep it up, you are my inspiration (at least for C4 rebuilds). We will learn from your mistakes. Don't make anymore serious ones...

ok guys got the guts in pump and bellhousing reattached...servos and bands hooked up....governor hooked back on.....gonna take the rest of the day off before i tackle the valve body....yes i have to do this because previously in my more gullible years.....like 4 days ago....lol....i took it apart and one of the check balls slipped out......but again thank god for my spare....gonna be really careful taking it apart so i can see exactly where those little buggers go....

Man what a pain in the @ss those two front drums with the clutches were.....getting them lined up then keeping them in place while i slipped the band back over it and got it all lined up and hooked in......had to take em out 3 times before it finally gave into my struggles.....

With any luck should have the car mobile early next week.......knocking on the biggest piece of wood i can find.....

If you guys have anything else to share between now and tomorrow morning about any of this please feel free...esp hints about the valve body.....

    I am still watching...cannot help.

So, how many hours did you put into this job, not counting the first time? The time plus the difficulty are making me lean more toward taking it out and handing it to a trans specialist. I have a quote of "done in one day, you bring the parts, $300 labor."

Starting to sound better all the time...

scoop...this is only taking so long cuz im doing it at work......WOW....300 parts plus labor....jump on that if theres a guarantee too.....If I had a whole day to do this it coulda probably been done in that amount of time....but ive got like 5 min here 15 min there.....shoulda kept track at amount of time ive spent working on it....now hopefully after i get this together it will all work properly......i don't see why it won't......gonna start in on the valve body in a few....soon as i fully wake up....lol.....i'll get back with all of ya on how that goes...
