    I am talking about TORQUE.

My new engine is feeling pretty strong. It runs strong from off idle to 7000 or so and the track is calling me. I have not addresed the rear suspension yet (caltracs likely) but I have a ?.

When I powerbrake the car I can not break the rear tires loose. I stall it up to about 2800 and then the car (which is a bit "twisted" at this point starts to slide on the front tires. It is quite comical to look at 3" wide burn-out marks.

What is hapening though ion my rear and the frame of the car? It can't be good to have a car stalled and pushing the torque aganist the rear, leafs etc.. What am I doing to my car and wil caltracs change it? When I do spin it (water or ?) and it launches, there is no wheel hop at all. Just a solid smooth launch. (specs in my signature)

I have a nice set of "Dan Specials" I have not yet installed. I guess I am assuming that the torque is being fed into my uni-body and rear. Not good..
