Thanks everyone, and yeah, the baby moons have to go! I went into the shed last night to poke around the car, taking a closer look at a lot of things. Sat in the car, even in the back seat, brings back a lot of very cool memories (a couple of hours flew by, felt like a few minutes). The car is solid, but it still needs a lot of attention to get it where I want it. In one respect I'm impatient and would like it done "tomorrow", and I wonder where I'll be able to find all the little parts I need to make it look like new. Then on the other hand, I have to keep telling myself to chill, relax and just take my time. I want to enjoy the "journey", not just the end result. This will give me "things to look for" at car shows and on the internet. Right now I'm looking at "all" the stuff it needs, I need to pick "one" thing at a time (which is about all the pocket book can stand anyway, as well as the wife will allow). Attached are a few more pics. One is the engine that Rick gave me. He said there is a way to trace the engine by the engine code (see pic, anybody know how to do that?). Another is the mfg. label (built in 11/75) and lastly a pic of the Mav in it's new home. Art
Dan, Thanks, growing up on a farm, we call it a "shed", lol. Anyway, it's a 32x50 building with 13.5 ceiling. I had a lot of people tell me I was crazy for building such a large building, but it's already too small, and someday I would like to build a workshop off to the side of it so I have room for tools and stuff.
