Does anybody know the rules and conditions that surround relocating the battery to the trunk?? This is really for my Drag Car, a 1971 Maverick Grabber. The battery is already back there and is secure, its just not in a box and I would like to know the conditions surrounding what type of box and venting to use...Thanks

I think it needs to be secure with 3/8 bolts, rods(hold downs) and of course a battery disconnect switch mounted in a accessible area on the rear of the car. I am pretty sure it doesn't have to be in a battery box. I no this isn't much, but I hope it helps.
