First I want to say hi to all of you out there. I am here because I have a 1976 Ford Maverick 2-door that has a 250ci with c-4 trans, with rusty floor pans, I live in Michigan and finding a doner car for replacment parts is like finding a needle in a hay stack, I would like to know if there is anyone out there that has a doner car that has good floors, that you are willing to cut out and sell to me, or if you live near the Great lakes area I wouldn't mind buying the whole car. My next question is I also have a 1971 Ford Galaxie with a bad body but has a great running 351w, would I need different motor mounts, or could I use the ones that come out of the Galaxie? Lastly, I'm looking for a good chrome back bumper, if any one has one they want to sell or has any info. on floor boards and repair, please contact me at: hwelch@fmic.com or call me at 231-928-0781 ask for Herb. Thanks.

    Welcome to the board:wave:

This Forum is only for introductions of you and your car:cool:
I would suggest you make a wanted ad in the "Wanted Ad Forum" You will have a better chance of getting a response to your part needs. The Technical Section would be the "perfect spot" for your 351w swap Question. It just keeps things from getting cluttered and makes Forum searching easier. Thanks

Glad to have another new member:Welcome:

If you find a Maverick with Good floor plans you may consider consolidation all the good parts from both cars to the one with the good floors and ditching the 76 ... Typically bad floor pans means rotted cowl ...

    Welcome ...

My first message is a hard one...my 1970 Maverick has front end corrosion and I'm not sure if I should invest in the repairs. I would love to find a car that's in pristine shape driven by an older person.

    Who knows?
