Ivy, it was great to see you again and allow me to ask as many questions as I did about your (very nice) Maverick.

Doug (DAB) took some great photos of your radiator set-up for me. I intend to use them as a go-by on mine. Thnx.

I didn't get to see the finals. I knew you were having trouble 60 footing. Did it ever come around? How did you do overall?

    'Luck,

    Rick Book

    Ivy,

I see on FFW's site that Daniel Hudspeth won the Quick Ford and Jason White was runner up.

It shows that Jason was running a '58 Ford (that thing is a land yacht!), but it reads "n/a" for Daniel's car.

Do you know what Daniel was driving?

    Thanks,

    Rick

Youre right. I gave Saturday's results.

Our car club (www.pomoforacing.com) and Trey's crew always pit beside each other. Those guys are a couple of McGyvers when it comes to fixing something between rounds.

Running both classes, he has his hands full.

I never got a chance to see it up close. I'm assuming it's a big block the way it sounded on take-off and gains after the 1/8th mile (although the wheels come up nicely off the line  ).
