Follow up on Intake & Carb install

    Guys it took me awhile but I finally got my Intake & Carb installed & setup so that I could test drive to see what difference it made. To recap: I have an all original 73 Grabber with a stock 302 2V & C4. Wanted to pep it up just a little. I installed a Crosswinds Aluminum Intake & Holley 600. It made a tremendous difference. The passing gear will actually set you back in the seat a little. It really seams like it woke the motor up. I am really tickled with the improvement made.:clap:

    Sounds great ! How is you`r gas milage now ? I just got an edelbrock 500 CFM carb and intake put on my mav too but I have many other things to do befor I can even back it out of the car port :cry: .

    Elliot I have not driven it enough to determine gas mileage yet. I suspect it will be a little better if I keep my foot out of it!

    Adding Headers and a free flowing duel exhaust will wake it up alot also.
    71gold (Frank) will back me up on this ,as he was very pleased when he did it to his car.

    Forgot to tell everyone initially but I have Dual Exhaust. I'm sure that helps this setup perform to the optimum. Probably would'nt have had as good results if it was still single exhaust. Thanks for everyone's input.
