Are the Grabber headlight bezels any different than the normal ones? Also, did they ever change from year to year. If anyone knows I'd appreciate it. Oh something else...if any of you guys are bidding on the maverick spoiler on ebay, why bid so early? You're just going to be outbid and driving the price up for everyone else . Just wait until the last day to bid and it will keep the prices down and make all these things much more affordable.
I think the only differance in headlight bezels,is some have black paint and some have the argent silver paint. Being a Grabber has no effect on headlight trim. I say let the spoiler price get driven thru the roof. That way when I sell mine, all the better for me Russ
The only difference is where the holes are located to adjust the headlites. Some were on the side and bottom...some where on the side and top. Look and you will see what I am talking about. Not sure what year they made the change.
I never noticed that before, you learn something new every day. You can still use either, just remove the door to adjust your lights if they dont line up & put them back on when your done.
I think waiting on a ebay item until the end to bid, in most cases doesn't really effect the end price. Think about it...Are you the only one thinking of that when you really want something? I don't know how many times that I see an item double or triple the bid amount within the last 5 minutes & it always ends up to be about the same price that others have sold for. Maverick rear spoilers with the end caps in good condition are always going for over a $100. Less, if there are cracks in the glass. You may have an advantage if you decide that you want to snipe something within the last 10 seconds, but again I've lost out on something I really wanted because someone else also had the same idea & really wanted it.
I have to agree with G.S. I've had a lot of experience on eBay both privately and with the business. If enough people want something in particular, it often doesn't matter if there are 5 days left on the item or 5 seconds. While it is true that early bidders sometimes drive the price up, it is not uncommon for the price to jump in the last couple of minutes, or even seconds, of the auction. I've also seen the last minute frenzy jack the price up to beyond where it should be. The first time I really experienced it was at an estate auction some time ago. I was facinated just watching people outbid each other raising the prices well above what was reasonable simply because they get caught up in the bidding frenzyand they "have to have it". The same happens on internet auctions with the only exception being able to snipe at the last second.
Well I threw in a $210 bid just to drive the price up. What can I say, I'm an ass. I was annoyed when these guys jacked it up beyond belief within the first day of it being posted .
