Exhaust manifolds

    :huh: does anybody make new exhaust manifolds, for the maverick???

    I don't think they are to hard to find. I've passed up 4 or 5 sets in junk yards.

    Hi-jack in progress...
    Has anyone tried the repop 289 HiPo manifolds on a Maverick?
    They are about the best flowing you can get and the price has come way down from what it used to be.

    I have heard the K manifolds and the 351w manifolds wont fit. Haven't tried em though.

    i picked up a 70 351 w came out of a truck it has the same manifolds as a maverick i have a set of 72 mavericks and they looked the same ??

    I think they make the left side only or vice versa. Try your local parts house. I think Dorman products might. If you are talking the 200 six yes they are available new can'tremember the company though.

    I have tried the K exhaust manifolds and they will not fit. After spending a week porting them out to the max you cannot get the driver side to bolt up to the exhaust due to interference with the steering box. The passenger side went in but was almost resting againt the shock tower down by the motor mount. I had to pull the whole engine and then went with headers.:tsk:
