    ..After we rebuild the front suspension this weekend it will be dropped into the engine bay.

    thats very nice.

    What kind of paint did you use??? I want to paint my engine before I drop it in, but I want something that will last a long time.

    Lookin' good. I like the yellow on the dip stick. I painted my tranny stick that way. It makes it very easy to pick out. Nice Job. Russ

    Looks good! Are the valve covers taller than the standard ones? Roller rockers? Tell us about the guts. FYI-Ford sells their dip sticks in yellow when bought over the counter.

    They are the taller (newer) Cobra valve covers intended to clear
    roller rockers.
    original '74 302 block .030 over
    Keith Black hypereutectic flat top pistons

    '70 351W heads
    1.94/1.6 Ferea stainless valves
    ported bowls, some port work on exhaust, not much
    Guideplates, screw-in studs, Crane roller rocker arms
    Heads milled to 53cc
    -Should yield 10.6:1 according to machinist

    Cam: Holman Moody 240XX 474/470 lift, duration I don't
    remember but it is supposed to work without a stall with
    my C-4 automatic.

    Stock crank 10/10

    Edelbrock Performer with 600 Holley vacuum sec.
    Mallory Unilite, mechanical advance
    Hooker Comp headers with X-pipe and mufflers? don't
    know which ones yet.

    That's about it, just a street cruiser
