Are the fenders from 73-77 interchangable on the the small bumper cars? I know the front of the fender below the marker light is longer, however that appears to be some sort of bolt on extension. If that is the case will my 70 front valence bolt onto these fenders with the extensions removed?

They are interchangable but you have to cut a notch in the front lower corner to allow clearance for the gravel pan on a 70/72 car ... Also ... only two of the bolts in the lower valance line up with the holes in the 73/77 Fender ... you will need to drill an additional hole in the fender to use all 3 bolts ...

if you remove the fender extentions the early valance fits just fine, I have one on our 77.
