The photo shoot/ interview we had today went really well. The writer's editor was mostly interested in the Stallion, so that's what he took the most pictures of. I only wish I had a camera setup like the one he was using. The whole thing took about 5 hours to do. I lost track of how many pictures he took of the Stallion, inside and out. The rest of the time was spent doing the interview. I found out that the writer does do articles for AutoWeek magazine, but the write up he's doing on our Stallion will appear in another magazine called Auto Restorer Magazine. This is a subscription purchase only magazine, so if you don't subscribe to it, you'll won't see the article. It does have a website, AutoRestorerMagazine.com. He said that the article will most likely come out this Spring. I will be getting copies of the article, so I will let you all know when it comes out. It was a very interesting and enjoyable day, and Dale and I had a great time. And in case you are wondering, I did drop the name of the club a few times.:D

Jean I am happy for you and Dale! Maybe you can get some of the pictures from them since they are likely digital.

You know something? I never once thought of photographing the photographer.:) I was so busy manuvering the car around so he could get the right lighting angles that I never thought to take pictures. I did get a good look at his camera though. It was one of the top of the line Nikkons that uses actual film. No digital pictures were taken. He had me take a look at a few of the shots through his camera's view finder, and I have to say that his camera put my digital to shame. Then again, my Cannon's not top of the line, either. In case anyone is wondering, the photograher/ writers name is Bob Tomaine. You can check out some of his work on the AutoWeek website. We spent about 2 hours talking to him about the Mavericks while he recorded the conversation. It will be tough waiting until Spring to see the finished article.

Thanks everybody. To answer your question Maverick Man, all the writer told me was that it would be published this Spring, so I really don't have a definate date to give you. They will let me know when it does and I will get a couple of free issues with the arrticle in them.
