No problems in my neighborhood. Very quiet small town. All the neighbors keep an eye on one another....After I lived here for a month, I started leaving the workshop unlocked. Haven't had a problem yet...Just help yourself. I won't be gone long...

    Good to hear.
    So is the plan...test fit gumballs....remove....drive to track...then re-install?
I was wondering if they can be driven to the track so we don't have to mount and dismount them as much.

Well they can as they are street legal, but they aren't very durable. I guess the track is pretty close too Coops place though so It'll probably be fine. I don't know how much tread will be left on them by the end of a night of racing. Luckily you don't have to do an earth shattering burnout before each pass to get them sticky. Just a quick blip.
    We'll wing it.

I guess well have to do a "game time" decision. I don't want to feel like a sh!t heel and burn out someones else's rags.
Also, how would we store the gear (jacks, grub, and driver wheels?) Just toss 'em on the ground at the track or will someone have a truck/van to store gear?
I'll be coming down without my crew support so I'm trying to guesstimate the logistics ahead of time.

I'll be driving down in my daily driver. If someone is going that isn't racing I guess they can drive it, but it doesn't have tons of room.

That does suck...Was looking forward to all the Mavericks/Comets at the races. Oh, well! Guess, we'll have to strive to do it again next month...It will make for a good day to putz around and work on the cars. Scott will be here around 10 am. Not sure what time Paul will be here. Paul will test fit slicks. Scott has a new distributor to put in. I have a 3.55 mini-spool to put in (maybe). No hurry, on mine though...

Oh you decided to mini spool it? That'll help out a lot at the track. See you as soon as I can.

Yeah, they're cheap, but I'd recommend the Power Trax locker (if you have the loot for it). I have the original clunky one (works fine for launches though) , but the newer quiet ones are pretty sweet.

without Comet now just keeping in touch
By all means give this guy a copy of the MCCI join up, he can go to mini meets and get the news letter, and be a part of the fun, without the aid of silcon chips
