    I'll be awfully dissappointed if you don't cleanup & detail your engine bay! Don't cut any corners being anxious to fire that monster up. Looks good.

    I agree with GS! An engine like that deserves a nicer home than the one you have it in. Clean 'er up!

    Man, you guys are ruff!!!!

    Actually the motor was just sitting in there, I was test fitting everything. If you notice the carb is sitting on top of the carb bolts and the water pump only as 1 bolt in each side. I was just checking for fit and clearance with the new plates. The motor is out again and the engine bay has been cleaned up, not car show clean, but it is fresh paint. Right now the car is ALL business! But I am very proud of how the motor looks!

    Heres the specs on the motor...

    347 stroker. Eagle 4340 Crank & connecting rods. Main Girdle/Canton Oil Pan. SRP pistons(13.5/1 compression). Lunati solid roller cam: duration= 286* intake/ 289*exhaust at .642 lift intake/ .626 exhaust. Lunati 1.6 Roller Rockers, Manley push rods, AFR 205 heads: 2.08 in./1.60 ex. 1.550 roller springs. JOMAR rocker girdle. Super Victor intake:port/matched. Quick Fuel Custom Carb(Q-Series 750) Pri. Jet #74, Sec. Jet #84 w/jet extensions. Cooooooool! :cool:

    Looks very nice id like to have that motor in my comet.Mabey next year.im looking to sell my 289 HP motor and go with a 331 or 347.
