I was wondering if I could get a couple dimensions from you. I'm set on where to start cutting on the top of the tower, but how deep (A) do you go at the bottom, and how many inches above the upper A arm bolts (B) should I cut? Thanks!

They usually say to make the bottom cut 2" above the center of the upper control arm bolts to allow for movement of the control arms. The top cut starts about 1/2" outside of the coil spring and drops straight down to the bottom cut. Just lay it out with masking tape first before you start cutting.

Great, thanks! This sure helps me out. The Grabber's going under the knife Saturday morning. I'll post pics later.

The ones I did, I did by eye. I removed the coil spring and moved the a arm to its max deflection. Then gave it about another 1/2". Then I burned a reference hole from the inside to see where to cut. This gave me the horizontal line. To get the verticle I gust measured and kept it about 3/4" from the spring.

Here's another tip, use a cut-off wheel instead of a torch. I used a 3" grinder with a cut-off wheel attached. Nice straight lines, clean, and ready to weld plates in.
