?? I can't remember what they are. I'd get on a mustang site and research them real quick. Plug set up is nothing like my Gt40P's. Also, "they came off..." without a casting number listed is a flag for me. I'd have to have the casting number. The fact the came off something doesn't mean they started life there.
wait I'd wait, heads are not something you want to buy spur of the moment. You should know what you are after first, then look for a deal, and be patient. maverikrick, 68s? what does that mean? C8OE, I haven't heard of those in the short time I have been on the forum. How do they compare to stock, GT40s, E7, etc?
68cc chambers won't help your compression any. If nothing is wrong with your heads, I wouldn't buy these.
C80E heads flow better on the intake than E7's, a little bit worse on exhaust, according to http://www.jason.fletcher.net/tech/flowdata/castiron.htm Almost identical to the stock 74 head.
Big valves Those c8's I listed are ported with big valves, and high lift springs in them already, nothing like a stock 74. Usually in this condition they start aroung $600.
maverikrick, What kinds of improvements would I see over my stock heads? For under $200, I would easily spend that kind of money for 25-40 HP increase.
Maverikrick got me. I didn't check the page. Ebay loads so slow for me, I rarely go there anymore. If they're ported well, it might be worth it. From my point of view tho, I just got a set of D0xx 351 heads, I'll port them cuz they were free, but any money I'm putting into heads will be some good aluminums. No sense in putting much money into a limited product. Check that link I gave, check the 289 heads vs the AFR 165s. The AFR's flow more on exhaust than the 289s peak at on intake.
