I have a set of Maverick/Granada disc brake spindles. However, they do not have the caliper brackets. Does anyone know what other Ford automobiles can be donors for the caliper brackets? These spindles need the brackets to be more marketable.
i think your SOL on that one. i was looking for the same thing.. but the only FUD that had them were mavericks and granadas that i could find in the junk yard. now days when i go to the junk yard every ganada and maverick is striped of spinels! i even seen people taken drum ones now.
terry, give me a few days after my surgery (tomorrow) and i will check "johnsons" for you. you might have to pull them if you need them before i am able...frank...
terry do a raybestos on google. you have to bop around on their site buy i bet you can find what you need. i know for a fact you can buy those caliper springs from raybestos. the site will give you a part number. then go to you local mom n pop shop and ask them to order that raybestos part for you. (unless of course you can find them on this site here.)
Scott, I'm looking for the actual mounting bracket. They are held onto the spindle with two bolts and the caliper actually mounts on these brackets. I don't need anything for the calipers. I need what the calipers attach to.
gotcha terry....let me know if/when you find them. i am getting the junkyard itch....before i go, i'll look and see if you found any. if not, i'll snag some for you.
Hey, Hawcko! Man, I have the exact same problem! Seriously, got the spindles, but, no caliper mounting brackets. Every trip to the boneyards reveals plenty of Granadas and Mavericks, but, they're all stripped! I feel for ya. Just thought you could use a little sympathy. Best wishes for your search, though. Hope you have more success than me! Eric (silver70)
I got a pair. Ron Robinson (ronr11) found a pair on car in South Carolina boneyard and sent them to me with a pair of high back bucket seats I bought from him.
