i noticed a leak on the power steering pump the other day. after a little research it is coming from the pump itself ( in the front where the two halves meet) where is the best place to get a new one and a new pulley already pressed together? i was told that most places sell the pump but i would need to reuse the pulley. my pulley is slightly bent and i would prefer to replace it. the car is a 71 mav 302 with air. any help would be great.

go to any auto parts store and buy one and ask if they have a new pulley, usually you can rent an installer for a few bucks or see if a friend has one to borrow, advance auto parts or auto zone, or O'rilley's auto parts are some.

In between the pump body and the housing there is a large "o" ring.Replace that and you won't have leaks.GL
