same solid cam, same lifters in the same bores.. Scared myself though.. A few seconds after start-up I dropped it into first to pull it out of the garage and NO GO! Brand new tranny and it was reving to 3000 before a budge! Uh Oh! Looked under car and you guessed it.. FLUID DUMPING out of the bellhousing! uh0oh front pump? improper install? I shut it down and went to the gym.. Just looked under the car and realized that a fitting was lose on the braided line from the tranny to the cooler! It was pumping fluid onto the rear of the bellhousing.Whew! An easy fix..
I live about 20 miles south of the city. In the Arnold/Imperial area. I usually attend some of the local car cruises in the Arnold area but of go down south to Festus too. I have not went to many shows this year but mostly evening cruises.
hehehe. I did almost exactly the same thing when I broke in my current camshaft. Left a transmission cooler line off. duh!!! No PM by the way.
So you must stay in the Westport area when your out here. I work right down the street from their many buildings. Let me know when your out this way. Allan
