The little black plastic cup comes out. I get a thin knife blade behind it on either the left or right side. I believe it has a couple of small tabs on the open end of the handle toward the top and bottom. On the hinge end of the handle there is one long tab in the middle. HTH
Yes the black plastic part comes out. The chrome rectangular piece is not just a trim. The rest of it you will see after the plastic piece is out. There is one phillips head screw holding the metal piece to the door.
Let me see if I got this right. The door release cup that is chrome around the edges, which the handle comes through. I need to pry that off. It is being held on from behind the door panel with a plastic piece about the same size. Once the door release cup comes off then I need to take out a phillps screw holding on the handle itself. Then the panel will come off.
It appears you need to remove the plastic insert from within the chrome cup. The chrome cup is actually attached to the panel.
No. The metal trim that you see is held to the door by a phillips screw that can only be accessed by removing(prying out)the plastic insert behind the handle
I am happy to announce that I now know what you was saying and I got the door panel off. Thanks a bunch guys!!! maverick1970 I will still see about the web sites.
