I see now, I thought your engine bay was primer gray. Splatter looks nice. Yeah, better replace the screwdrivers with some pens or pencils, you may need the screwdrivers for something else. Seth
The heads came with helicoils. By block off plates, I am assuming you mean the water crossover? Yes, it is blocked. Now, if I could only instal a thermostat correct! Funny, can gap rings, plasti-gauge he crank and screw up the simple tasks!!
The 5.0 I just installed went in with the tranny. Piece of cake ... and two people is pretty much a necessity ...
I keep an eye out for cooling problems. I have had plenty of my own on the 302. It's finally running cool. That engine looks great. Jonathan
hey looks good comming along eh? a bit of advice on splater paint... not to sure which on you used but some of them are not water proof  so you gotta clear coat it.. maybe you already did that but just thought i give my also you must like green huh? green maverick, green S10 or blazer in the background and a green engine hoist. is your house green too keep up the good work!
Yes, the clear coat makes it work! Not overly fond of green, car gets sprayed once it is back up and runing. NOT GREEN!
