Hey all, I am inquiring to find out if there is indeed a rear sway bar for our mavericks. My search has been almost inconclusive so far. Im trying to beef my suspension up so that the Mav will handle like its on rails.. or at least handle.. that would be ultra smoothacool. YeYeah. As always any info is appreciated!

this is one of those subjects thats been argued back and forth. some will say to use one thing others something else. under the search on this website look for "rear sway bar". I'm sure you can dredge up plenty of opinions.

as for buying one, I do know that Addco makes sway bars for mavericks, and can also make any size you need. I have front and rear bars from them . they are custom sized, fitment is great as well as their function.

    good luck on your project

The standard size rear sway-bar that Addco offers is 3/4". Anything larger will have to be custom ordered...

Thanks for the info T.L. it is always greatly appreciated. I am in no extreme hurry seeing as how I still have 7 more months in Iraq in support of OIF III (I am on R&R right now). My father and I are going to celebrate my return to the states by turnin some wrenches on the mav and investing some of my hard earned (and well saved) cash in the Mav and it will give us time for some stories between all the cussing and scraped knuckles! (I have plenty) So as long as they can chop and machine a set of swaybars in less than 7 months all is well! WooHoo partaaaaaaaaaay yeyeah :bananaman
