It tells me you have front suspension problems, bushings etc...I had same problem with my front shocks...check upper and lower bushings for movement thats what was wrong with mine when they get old and have slack in them its gotta go somewhere...

First thing I would suspect would be the shock its self. Recenter the top, unbolt the bottom and spin it 180 degrees and reattach. See if it still walks off towards the front. If the base isnt welded on perfectly straight, it will put side pressuer on the top mount. After that, check your upper A frame bushings as stated above. Lastly it could be the car had a front end collision at some time in its life.
There are no after market braces available for your car. With the power brake set up, you cant even modify mustang stuff to work. You'll have to make your own. If its just the blue you dont like, take them off, strip, and repaint them.

New shocks are only $18, and take about 30 mins to swap. If you have any doubt, change them.

ive seen a couple with cracked a-arms where the spring perch mounts, which is what the bottom of those shocks mount to, also look at the upper arm shafts they tend to wear out, but when they do, they clunk
