which direction water pump is mine?

i have a stock water pump and i want to get a new water pump and i am not sure if i want counterclockwise or clockwise


as i am looking from the front of the car....it turn clockwise.... or is it...from the drivers seat looking out....????

just by your own admission it looks to be the proper water pump, the summit part says clockwise direction which your pump is going and should work. if you can see into the water pump and see the blades and see which way they are pointing then you can tell which way the water will flow.

 

That pump at summing racing says its for a 70 - 78 Ford 302 so it's the right part

 

If..

If rotation direction is your problem, they'll probably look about the same on the outside but the blades will be pointing in opposite directions. So you'll know as soon as you see them side by side.
